LuVisideMedia was the original media brand created by Dominic LuVisi in 2017, based in Reno, Nevada. It began as a grassroots project to showcase Dominic’s creative vision through Deaf-led content, vlogs, short films, and raw storytelling in American Sign Language (ASL). The brand reflected his early journey as a young Deaf creator with a powerful voice, navigating both the world of content creation and personal struggles with schizophrenia. LuVisideMedia became a safe space for Dominic to explore his identity, document his life, and connect with other Deaf viewers through honest and unfiltered storytelling.

During its early years, LuVisideMedia focused on developing projects that were deeply personal and emotionally charged. It was known for ASL vlogs that captured Dominic’s daily life, inner battles, and artistic ideas. The brand also experimented with various sub-projects, including Deaf Channel Films, Our1stDeafLife, and Deaf2ndLife—each representing different phases of Dominic’s growth as a filmmaker, vlogger, and Deaf mental health advocate. LuVisideMedia served as the creative foundation that allowed him to test his vision, develop his editing style, and build a loyal audience within the Deaf community.

Though the brand started small, LuVisideMedia played a key role in establishing Dominic’s presence as a Deaf YouTuber and digital storyteller. It became a platform for creative freedom and emotional expression, with content often centered around the Deaf experience, mental health challenges, and the idea of living authentically without fear. The brand embraced a "film loud, live true" mindset that resonated with viewers who were seeking truth and connection in a world that often silences or misrepresents the Deaf voice.
